Gluten-free buckwheat rolls are easily made with Virtasalmen Viljatuote' gluten-free buckwheat flour, which gives the rolls a flavour and chewy feel. Try it and love it too! The recipe makes 13 buns.



  • Soak the yeast in lukewarm water.
  • Add salt, syrup, oil, crushed buckwheat groats, grated carrot and flour mix.
  • Start the dough until smooth, let it rise for about 30 min.
  • Shape the dough into rolls and rise.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes at 225°C.
  • Gluten-free buckwheat rolls are at their best when fresh and slightly chilled.
