Please read these terms and conditions carefully each time before ordering products from our shop.
By ordering products, you agree to these terms and conditions and undertake to comply with them. We reserve the right to change our delivery terms.

General information
Virtasalmen Viljatuote Oy manufactures and sells gluten-free mill products.
We sell our products in-store, online, through retailers and to corporate customers via direct delivery. These terms of delivery apply only to orders placed in the online shop. The Virtasalmi Cereal Products online store is located at https://www.virtasalmenviljatuote.fi. We sell our products through the online store to adult individuals and companies in Finland and Sweden.
Our online shop is hosted on an SSL-secured site.
Prices & Products
The prices and delivery costs of the products are indicated subject to VAT. VAT is charged at the current rate (from 1.10.2017 the current VAT rate for food products is 14%). The VAT breakdown of products and delivery costs is shown in the shopping cart and order confirmation.
The prices in the online shop are valid until further notice. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery charges. These terms of delivery and prices are valid only in Finland. We reserve the right to cancel an order in case of clear price errors (e.g. price 0,00€)
Virtasalmen Viljatuote's products are gluten-free milled products. We do not manufacture, pack or resell products containing gluten. All our raw materials are naturally gluten-free, GMO-free, preservative-free, additive-free and we do not use wheat starch. Products should be stored away from light, in a dry and cool place.
To order
Virtasalmen Viljatuote's products and delivery method are ordered from the online store via the Internet.
The customer does not need to register with the online store to order products. By registering, you can track your order history and store your billing and delivery addresses in the online shop.
There is a minimum order value in our online shop. The total value of the products included in the order must be at least EUR 22 or SEK 250. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver products below 22 € or 250 SEK due to storage and transport costs.
Ordering from the online shop:
1) Add the products you want to your shopping cart by pressing the "Add to cart" button next to the products. In the shopping cart, you can still change the order quantities of the products and delete products.
2) Choose the delivery method you want to use. (For more information on delivery methods, see "Delivery method")
3) Once your shopping cart and delivery method have been selected, press the "Checkout" button.
4) Enter your billing and delivery details (mandatory information is marked with *). If you are registered in our online shop, the program will automatically provide this information.
5) Read our terms and conditions at the latest now and tick the box "I have read and accept our terms and conditions"
6) Click on "Proceed to payment" and you will be able to choose the payment method you want to use (Read more about payment methods under "Payment method")
7) Once you have paid for your order, you will receive an order confirmation email.
Order confirmation
After you have paid for your order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, which contains:
- The ordered products and their taxable prices
- The chosen delivery method and the related delivery time
- The total price of the order, tax-free and taxable
- Your contact details
- Contact details of Virtasalmen Viljatuote
You can print the order confirmation on paper or file it electronically. You will also receive a receipt for your purchase.
Once the order has been accepted, a notification will be sent to the webshop administrator and the order will be processed.
We aim to process orders within 1-3 working days of receipt, but we reserve the right to make exceptions.
NOTE! If you wish to cancel an order, please let us know immediately after placing the order by emailing info@virtasalmenviljatuote.fi. We usually process orders very quickly, so we avoid unnecessary shipping and handling costs.
Order cancellation
You can cancel the order before the payment is completed. In the online shop, you can go back by clicking on the "Go back" button in your browser. At the payment stage, you can interrupt the order by pressing the "Cancel" button or by going back. Our online shop offers the possibility to pay the suspended purchase even after this and the administrator will be informed about the suspended purchase. Remember to clear your browser history when using a public computer.

Order processing time
We always aim to deliver as quickly as possible.
We will process and dispatch your order within 1-3 working days, provided that all the products in your order are in stock. We will contact customers as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone if we find that the delivery time is longer than normal or if, exceptionally, the product is not available. We reserve the right not to accept an order.
During promotional periods, order processing times may be delayed due to high order volumes. We process orders on a first-come, first-served basis and aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
We will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control or influence or otherwise generally considered to be force majeure.
Delivery method
The total amount of the products and the chosen delivery method will affect the delivery costs of the order. The e-commerce shopping cart will automatically update the shipping cost amount if the shipping method is changed or products are removed/added to the order. Delivery costs include packaging materials and handling of the shipment. We only ship to Finland and Sweden via our online shop. Once the package has been delivered to Postin or Postnord, we are not responsible for any disruption or delay in delivery.
Note! In the online shop, the exact delivery point is only selected after the "Checkout" button. You can still change the delivery method at this point.
Shipments are packed in boxes containing the products, protective paper and a shipping list/receipt. The box is taped with a piece of tape bearing the Virtasalmen Viljatuote logo. The box is topped with a package label.
The boxes come in four different sizes. We pack the order in a box according to the products.

Postnord
Postnord keeps your shipments for 7 days. After this period, uncollected parcels will be returned to Virtasalmi Cereal Products at the sender's expense. We reserve the right to charge the customer for the shipping costs of the uncollected parcel.

Posti
Posti store shipments for only 7 days. After this period, uncollected parcels will be returned to Virtasalmi Cereal Products at the sender's expense. We reserve the right to charge the customer for the shipping costs of the unclaimed package.
You can track your package with the package code sent to you at Postin in Finland Sweden.

Payment methods - Finland
Products and their delivery costs including tax are paid at the time of ordering. Depending on the payment method, they may be subject to one-off charges, an instalment surcharge or interest. The options and related information are presented at the online checkout.
Payment service provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) is the payment service provider for customers resident in Finland, in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is a licensed payment institution. Bank payments
You have access to payment buttons from all Finnish banks, either based on the eBanking interfaces provided by the banks or based on open banking interfaces. You can pay using the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpank, Osuuspank, POP-pank, Säästöpank, S-pank and Ålandsbanken. Your statement will show Paytrail Plc as the payee, we will forward your payment to the online merchant. From the online shop, you will be redirected directly to your own bank to make the payment securely.
Credit card payments
You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Debit Mastercard and American Express cards. The online shop uses the international Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services.
Paytrail Plc will appear as the payment recipient on the card invoice and will forward the payment card payment made by the customer directly to the merchant. The card payment is made securely via a secure payment form and no payment card details are stored in the e-commerce systems.
Mobile payment methods
Mobile payment methods MobilePay and Transfer are in-app services that allow you to pay for online purchases as a transfer from your account or as a card payment from your card by accepting a payment in that app.

Invoice and instalment services
Bill and instalment services through Paytrail are offered by OP and Walley. Walley also offers an invoice and instalment facility for corporate customers. Please read the more detailed terms and conditions for each financial company, which you will see when you accept your payment. When you accept a payment, you also accept the terms and conditions of the finance company.

Stripe is a so-called third-party payment solution. This means that Stripe provides services for making payments and transferring money. Stripe's service is web-based, meaning that it processes debit and credit card payments over the internet. It is structured to securely transfer money from the customer's account or payment card to the merchant's account.
Stripe has made it easy to buy without requiring the buyer to open an account or guess passwords. A debit or credit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo is sufficient for online shopping.

Right of return
The customer has a 14-day right of return for distance selling under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging. As this is a food product, we cannot accept opened packages. The return period starts on receipt of the goods. The customer is responsible for the return costs.
Please contact us by phone or email before returning your parcel so that we can arrange how to send it to you.

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after receipt of the goods. Once a return has been accepted, the money will be refunded to the payment method you used after the return has been received and processed.
Claims
Shipment broken
Check the shipment as soon as you receive it. If you notice any external signs of breakage, please inform the customer service agent at the collection point (Post Office or Postnord branch/receiving point) and us at tel. +358 208 348 000 or info@virtasalmenviljatuote.fi. The customer service agent will make a damage report and the parcel should not be redeemed. If you do redeem the parcel, please check the condition of the products again when you open the parcel. If it appears at this point that the products have broken down in transit, please let us know. We would appreciate a picture with the report if you can send one.
Defective product
If we have delivered an incorrect or defective product, you should report this immediately to info@virtasalmenviljatuote.fi or by telephone on +358 208 348 000 (weekdays 9-15). You must report an incorrect delivery or defective product within 14 days of receiving the product.
