We kindly ask you to carefully read these terms of delivery each time you order products from our store.
By ordering the products, you accept these terms and you agree to comply with them. We reserve the right to change our delivery terms.

Virtasalmen Viljatuote Oy manufactures and sells gluten-free mill products.

We sell our products in our shop, online, through distributors and to corporate customers with direct deliveries. These delivery terms apply only to orders made through the online shop. The Virtasalmen Viljatuote’ online shop is available at https://www.virtasalmenviljatuote.fi/en.
We sell online through our online shop only to adults and businesses in Finland.

Our online shop is located on an SSL-protected site.

The prices and delivery costs of the products in the online shop include VAT. The VAT is billed according to the current tax rate (14% VAT for foodstuff since 01.10.2017). In the online shopping basket and in the order confirmation, you can see the VAT breakdown of the products and the shipping costs.

Online shop rates are valid until further notice. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs. These delivery terms and prices are valid only in Finland. We reserve the right to cancel your order with clear price errors (for example price is 0.00€).

Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s products are gluten-free mill products. We do not manufacture, pack or distribute products containing gluten. All of our raw materials are naturally gluten-free, GMO-free, preservative-free, additive-free and we do not use wheat starch. Products should be stored in a dry and cool place protected from the light.

Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s products and delivery methods are ordered on the online shop through the Internet.
The customer does not have to register to the online shop to order products. By registering, you can track your order history and save your billing and delivery addresses for next use in the online shop.

Ordering from the online shop:
1) Add the product that you want to buy in the shopping cart by pressing “Add to cart”. In the shopping cart, you can still change quantity and remove products.
2) Choose the delivery mode. (Read more in “Delivery methods”).
3) Once you have chosen the delivery methods, press “Proceed to checkout”.
4) Input the billing and delivery informations (compulsory information is marked with the mark *). In case you have already registered in our online shop, your information will appear automatically.
5) Read our delivery terms and tick the box “I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions”.
6) Press “Place order” and choose the payment method. (Read more in “Payment methods”).
7) Once you have paid your order, you receive an order confirmation by e-mail.

After you have paid the order, you will receive an e-mail where the following information will be:
– Ordered products and their prices included VAT.
– Chosen delivery method and related cost.
– The total price of the order with and without VAT.
– Your own contact details.
– Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s contact details.

You can print the order confirmation on paper or archive your e-mail confirmation. You will also receive a receipt of your purchase with your order.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after the order is confirmed, but we reserve the right to exceptions.

NOTE! In case you want to cancel your order, please notify us immediately after your order confirmation by e-mail: info@virtasalmenviljatuote.fi. We usually handle orders very quickly, so contact us immediately to avoid useless shipping and handling costs.

You can pause an order before completing the payment. In the online shop, you can pause your order by pressing the button “Go back” on your browser. In the payment phase, you can pause your order by pressing the “Cancel” button or by going back. Our online shop offers the possibility of paying for interrupted purchases even after this and the administrator will be informed of the interrupted purchase transaction. Remember to clear your browser history when using a public computer.

We always strive to deliver as fast as possible.
We process and ship your order within 1 to 3 business days if all items of the order are in our warehouse. We will contact our customers as soon as possible via e-mail or phone if we find that the delivery time is longer than normal or if the product is not available exceptionally. We reserve the right not to accept the order.

We are not responsible for delays that are not caused by us or caused by independent reasons and beyond our control or influence, or what is generally considered as force majeure.

The total weight of the products and the chosen delivery method will affect the shipping cost of the order. The online shopping cart will automatically update the shipping cost if the delivery method is changed or the products are removed / added to the order. Shipping costs include packing materials and shipping handling. We ship only to Finland. When the package is delivered by Posti, Matkahuolto or DB Schenker service, we will not be responsible for any disturbances or delays in delivery.

ATTENTION! In the online shop, a more accurate delivery point will only be selected after the “Proceed to checkout” button. Here you can change the delivery method.

The orders are packed in carton boxes in which you will find the products, protective paper and the receipt. The box is taped with Viljatuote’s logo adhesive tape. We also put a delivery slip sticker on the box.

We have 4 different box sizes. We pack the box according to the ordered products..

– POSTI –

Posti keeps the shipments only 7days.
After that, the package will be returned at the expense of the sender to Virtasalmen Viljatuote. We reserve the right to charge the shipping costs of the returned package to the customer.

The maximum weight of Posti’s box is 35kg. The total weight of the products cannot exceed 33kg in one package because the packaging materials should be considered. Orders over 35kg are shipped in several boxes.

Pick up from the nearest Posti’s office/service point. Prices start from 8.00€ / shipment.

The network of Posti’s service points is Finland’s most comprehensive package service network. The service points are located in a number of shops and at their own premises. By entering your shipping address information in our online shop, you can choose from the nearest 5 sites, from which you can choose the pickup point you want. Posti’s package will be shipped to the selected pickup point within 1 to 3 business days after the dispatch. Packages leave from Virtasalmen Viljatuote on the same day or at the latest within two working days.

You will receive a notification of the received shipment by SMS or by post informing that the package can be picked up from the pickup point indicated in the arrival notice. You can track the package with the dispatch number on Posti’s website at www.posti.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent.
You can pick up the package with your identity card or authorize another person to pick up the package. Then fill in the power of attorney form that you will find in the page “Delivery Methods and Prices”.

Pick-up from Posti’s package machines (pakettiautomaatit). Prices start from 8.00€ / shipment.
Posti’s package machines are self-service points where you can pick up your package against a delivery code. They are usually located in malls and large stores. By entering your shipping address information, you can find the information on the nearest 5 package machines in your online shop.
The package is shipped to the selected package machine within 1 to 3 business days of the shipment. Packages leave from Virtasalmen Viljatuote on the same day or at the latest within two working days.
NOTE! You will receive a notification of the package with a text message that also includes the box code. The lock code is not sent by e-mail, so at the ordering stage the phone number is required. You can track the package with the dispatch number on Posti’s website at www.posti.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent.

Posti’s home delivery. Prices start from 13,00 € / shipment.

Posti’s home delivery service delivers the package to the delivery address you want. Before delivery, Posti will contact you and confirm the time of delivery. If the package cannot be delivered to the destination, it will be transported to the nearest Post office and the customer will receive an arrival notice in the mailbox. The package can be picked up with an ID card at the post office location.

Posti’ home delivery by multipackagage delivery. Price from 23,00 € / shipment.

Posti’s home delivery service delivers the packages to your preferred delivery address. Before delivery, Posti will contact you and confirm the time of delivery. If the packages cannot be delivered, they will be transported to the nearest Post office and the customer will receive an arrival notice in the mailbox. Packages can be picked up with an ID card at the post office location.

– MATKAHUOLTO –

Matkahuolto keeps the shipments for 14 days. After that, the package will be returned at the expense of the sender to Matkahuolto. We reserve the right to charge shipping costs for the returned package to the customer.

Matkahuolto’s Lähellä-paketti, pick-up from the nearest Matkahuolto’s pick-up point. Prices start from 8.00 € / shipment.
You can pick up your package from K-Market, R-kiosk, Matkahuolto’s subsidiary or Matkahuolto’s office. Maximum package’s weight is 30kg with packaging material. If the weight of the products exceeds 30kg, the package will be sent by Matkahuolto’s Bus Package service. The package will be delivered within 1 to 3 business days to the selected pickup point. By entering your delivery address, you will find the information on the nearest 5 Matkahuolto’s pickup points in our online shop, from which you can choose the one you want. In the online shop you will also find the distance to these different pickup points. Packages leave Virtasalmen Viljatuote every weekday.
You will receive a notification of the received shipment by text message or by letter informing you that the package can be picked up from the pickup point indicated in the arrival notice. You can track the package with the dispatch number on Matkahuolto’s website www.matkahuolto.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent.
You can pick up the shipment against your identity card or authorize another person to pick up the shipment. Then fill in the power of attorney that you will find in the “Delivery Methods and Prices” page.

Matkahuolto’s bus package service, pick-up from the nearest Matkahuolto’s office. Prices start from 16,50 € / shipment.

You can pick up your packages from Matkahuolto’s office and Matkahuolto’s pickup point. With this service, you can order our products up to 100kg. The shipment is divided into several packages of 30kg max. The packages will be delivered within 1 to 3 business days to the selected pickp point. By entering your delivery address, you will find the information and distances of the nearest 5 Matkahuolto’s pickup points in our online shop. You can choose the pickup location for your packages. Packages leave Virtasalmen Viljatuote every weekday.
You will receive a notification of the shipment by SMS or by post informing you that the package can be picked up from the pickup point indicated in the arrival notice. You can track the package with the dispatch number on Matkahuolto’s website www.matkahuolto.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent.
You can pick up the shipment against your identity card or authorize another person to pick up the shipment. Then fill in the power of attorney that you will find in the Delivery Methods and Prices page.

– DB SCHENKER –

Pickup points keep the shipments for 14 days. After that, the package will be returned at the expense of the sender to Virtasalmen Viljatuote. We reserve the right to charge the shipping costs of the returned package to the customer.

DB Schenker’s pickup package service, pick-up from the nearest DB Schenker pickup point. Prices start from 7,00 € / shipment.
You can pick up your package from R-kiosks, K-Markets and several other companies around Finland. Package’s maximum weight is 20kg with packaging material. Packages will be delivered within 3-5 working days to the selected pickup point. By entering your delivery address, we provide the closest 5 pickup points in our online shop. The packages leave from Virtasalmen Viljatuote every Tuesday and Thursday.
You will receive a notification of the received shipment by SMS or by e-mail informing you that the package can be picked up from the pickup point indicated in the arrival notice. You can track the package with the dispatch number on DB Schenker’s website www.noutopistepaketti.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent. You can pick up the shipment against your identity card or authorize another person to pick up the shipment. Then fill in the power of attorney that you will find in the “Delivery Methods and Prices” page.

The products and their delivery charges and taxes are paid upon order.

Checkout is a secure payment method for you. The service is entered in the payment institution register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority under the transitional provision of the Finnish Credit Institutions Act. It is a service maintained by Checkout Finland Ltd (Business ID 2196606-6) and Checkout Finland Ltd is owned by OP.

Payment by online bank

The Checkout payment transfer service transfers your payment to Virtasalmen Viljatuote. The payment buttons for all the Finnish banks are available, so you can choose to pay with Nordea, Osuuspankki, Säästöpankki, POP-pankki, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, S-pankki, Ålandsbanken and LähiTapiola. The payee will see the payment made to Checkout Finland Oy on the bank account statement.

Payment by credit card

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard. Card payment is secured by Nets SSL Secure Payment Form. Online shop and Checkout Finland Oy do not have access to card data and payment card information is not stored in our systems. International Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services are used in the online shop.

Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s online shop uses the Checkout payment transfer service for card payments. The online shop acts as a marketer for products and services and as a product supplier for the customer. The online shop is responsible for the statutory and other obligations of the retailer. In the case of payment card payments, the transaction is generated between the customer and Checkout Finland Oy (2196606-6). Checkout Finland Oy is responsible for the obligations and claims for card payments. Checkout will appear as a payee with a card payment and pass the payment made by card by the customer directly to Virtasalmen Viljatuote.

Payment by mobile payment methods

Mobile payments such as Pivo, MobilePay, and Masterpass are application-based services that can pay for online purchases as a bank account or as a card payment by accepting a payment in that application. With Pivo, you will be able to complete the Transfer-payments so that the payment can be accepted in any application that supports the Transfer-payments.

Under the Finnish consumer protection law, the customer has a 14-day return right in distance selling. The right to return goods applies only to unused and merchantable goods in their original packaging. Since it is foodstuff, we cannot accept opened packages. The return right begins upon reception of the goods.

Before returning the goods, please contact us by phone, e-mail or contact form, so we can agree on how to send the returned package.

Please include the following information in with returned package:
– Your name, address, phone number
– Copy of the shipment list / receipt
– Your bank account number in IBAN format and BIC code
– Return form or informal notice of cancellation of the contract

We will not accept returns more than 14 days after receipt of the goods. Once the return has been approved, we will refund the money directly to your account after receiving and processing the return.

Shipment broken
Check the shipment immediately upon reception. If you notice any external signs of damages on the package, please inform the shipper’s customer service (Post, Matkahuolto or DB Schenker’s office / pick up desk) or contact us by phone: +358 208 348 000 or by email: info@virtasalmenviljatuote.fi. The shipper’s customer service will send a damage notification and no shipment will be redeemed. If you accept your shipment, check out the condition of the products as you open the package. If the products have been damaged during transportation, please let us know. We would like to receive a picture with the notification if you can send it to us.

Defective product
If we have shipped a wrong or defective product, please contact us by email: info@virtasalmenviljatuote.fi immediately or by telephone: + 358 208 348 000 (on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm). The notice of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days after receiving the product.
