We kindly ask you to carefully read these terms of delivery each time you order products from our online shop.
By ordering the products, you accept these terms and you agree to comply with them. We reserve the right to change our delivery terms.
We sell our products in our shop, online, through distributors and to corporate customers with direct deliveries. These delivery terms apply only to orders made through the online shop. The Virtasalmen Viljatuote’ online shop is available at https://www.virtasalmenviljatuote.fi/en/shop/.
We sell online through our online shop only to adults and businesses in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France (metropolitan), Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Our online shop is located on an SSL-protected site.
Online shop rates are valid until further notice. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs. These delivery terms and prices are valid only in European countries mentioned above. We reserve the right to cancel your order with clear price errors (for example price is 0.00€).
Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s products are gluten-free mill products. We do not manufacture, pack or distribute products containing gluten. All of our raw materials are naturally gluten-free, GMO-free, preservative-free, additive-free and we do not use wheat starch. Products should be stored in a dry and cool place protected from the light.
The customer does not have to register to the online shop to order products. By registering, you can track your order history and save your billing and delivery addresses for next use in the online shop.
1) Add the product that you want to buy in the shopping cart by pressing “Add to cart”. In the shopping cart, you can still change quantity and remove products.
2) Choose the delivery mode. (Read more in “Delivery methods”).
3) Once you have chosen the delivery methods, press “Proceed to checkout”.
4) Input the billing and delivery informations (compulsory information is marked with the mark *). In case you have already registered in our online shop, your information will appear automatically.
5) Read our delivery terms and tick the box “I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions”.
6) Press “Place order” and choose the payment method. (Read more in “Payment methods”).
7) Once you have paid your order, you receive an order confirmation by e-mail.
– Ordered products and their prices included VAT.
– Chosen delivery method and related cost.
– The total price of the order with and without VAT.
– Your own contact details.
– Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s contact details.
You can print the order confirmation on paper or archive your e-mail confirmation. You will also receive a receipt of your purchase with your order.
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after the order is confirmed, but we reserve the right to exceptions.
NOTE! In case you want to cancel your order, please notify us immediately after your order confirmation by e-mail: email@example.com. We usually handle orders very quickly, so contact us immediately to avoid useless shipping and handling costs.

We process and ship your order within 1 to 3 business days if all items of the order are in our warehouse. We will contact our customers as soon as possible via e-mail or phone if we find that the delivery time is longer than normal or if the product is not available exceptionally. We reserve the right not to accept the order.
We are not responsible for delays that are not caused by us or caused by independent reasons and beyond our control or influence, or what is generally considered as force majeure.
ATTENTION! In the online shop, a more accurate delivery point will only be selected after the “Proceed to checkout” button. Here you can change the delivery method.
The orders are packed in carton boxes in which you will find the products, protective paper and the receipt. The box is taped with Viljatuote’s logo adhesive tape. We also put a delivery slip sticker on the box.
We have 4 different box sizes. We pack the box according to the ordered products..

– POSTNORD –
Postnord keeps the shipments 7 days. After that, the package will be returned at the expense of the sender to Virtasalmen Viljatuote. We reserve the right to charge the shipping costs of the returned package to the customer.
The maximum weight for MyPack Collect parcel is 30 kg. Above 30 kg, the order is shipped in several parcels.
The maximum weight for MyPack Home parcel is 35 kg. Above 35 kg, the order is shipped in several parcels.
MyPack Collect – Pick up from the nearest Postnord office/service point.
Postnord’s service network is extensive (over 1,600 service points) and covers the whole of Finland. Service points and lockers are located in connection with shops, R-kiosks, Tokmanni and Matkahuolto. Entering your delivery address information will provide you with a selection of the nearest 5 locations in our webstore where you can select your preferred pickup point.
MyPack Collect package will be shipped to the selected pick up point within 2-6 business days of shipment. The parcels will depart from Virtasalmen Viljatuote on the same day or within two business days at the latest.
You will be notified of an incoming shipment by SMS or e-mail, after which the package can be picked up from the office indicated on the arrival notification. If the pick-up is in a locker, you will receive a PIN for the box at the arrival notification. You can track the progress of the package with the shipping code on Postnord’s website at https://www.postnord.fi/asiakaspalvelu/sahkoinen-asiointi/lahetysten-seuranta. You will receive a shipping code via email once your order has been confirmed and shipped.
You can pick up the shipment against your ID or authorize another person to pick up the shipment. Then fill in the power of attorney.
MyPack Home – Postnord’s home delivery.
Postnord’s home delivery service will deliver the package to your desired shipping address. Prior to shipping, Postnord will send a prior notice to agree on the delivery date and delivery time window. Prior notice will be sent via SMS or email. The package is handed over against acknowledgment. If the item is handed over to someone else, there must be a power of attorney. If the package cannot be delivered to the customer, it will be returned to the sender after 14 days.
– POSTI –
Posti keeps the shipments only 7 days. After that, the package will be returned at the expense of the sender to Virtasalmen Viljatuote. We reserve the right to charge the shipping costs of the returned package to the customer.
The maximum weight of Posti’s box is 35 kg. The total weight of the products cannot exceed 33 kg in one package because the packaging materials should be considered. Orders over 35 kg are shipped in several boxes.
Pick up from the nearest Posti’s office/service point.
The network of Posti’s service points is Finland’s most comprehensive package service network. The service points are located in a number of shops and at their own premises. By entering your shipping address information in our online shop, you can choose from the nearest 5 sites, from which you can choose the pickup point you want. Posti’s package will be shipped to the selected pickup point within 1 to 3 business days after the dispatch. Packages leave from Virtasalmen Viljatuote on the same day or at the latest within two working days.
You will receive a notification of the received shipment by SMS or by post informing that the package can be picked up from the pickup point indicated in the arrival notice. You can track the package with the dispatch number on Posti’s website at www.posti.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent.
You can pick up the package with your identity card or authorize another person to pick up the package. Then fill in the power of attorney form that you will find in the page “Delivery Methods”.
Pick-up from Posti’s Smartpost (pakettiautomaatit).
Posti’s Smartpost lockers are self-service points where you can pick up your package against a delivery code. They are usually located in malls and large stores. By entering your shipping address information, you can find the information on the nearest 5 Smartpost lockers in your online shop.
The package is shipped to the selected package machine within 1 to 3 business days of the shipment. Packages leave from Virtasalmen Viljatuote on the same day or at the latest within two working days.
NOTE! You will receive a notification of the package with a text message that also includes the box code. The Smartpost locker’s code is not sent by e-mail, so at the ordering stage the phone number is required. You can track the package with the dispatch number on Posti’s website at www.posti.fi. You will receive the dispatch number by e-mail when the order is acknowledged and sent.
Posti’s home delivery.
Posti’s home delivery service delivers the package to the delivery address you want. Before delivery, Posti will contact you and confirm the time of delivery. If the package cannot be delivered to the destination, it will be transported to the nearest Post office and the customer will receive an arrival notice in the mailbox. The package can be picked up with an ID card at the post office location.
The total weight of the products and the chosen delivery method will affect the shipping cost of the order. The online shopping cart will automatically update the shipping cost if the delivery method is changed or the products are removed / added to the order. Shipping costs include packing materials and shipping handling. When the package is delivered by Postnord, we will not be responsible for any disturbances or delays in delivery.
MyPack Collect – Your order will be delivered to your selected pick-up point across Europe.
The delivery time is 6 – 10 business days. You will receive the tracking number via email after your order has been processed. The arrival notification of the package will be sent by SMS, e-mail or via the Postnord application.
The package is stored in the Nordic countries for 14 days and in other European countries for 7 days.
The total weight of the package should be 17 kg max.
The webshop automatically calculates the delivery price according to the destination country and total weight of the products.
MyPack Collect – service is available in the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, France (metropolitan), Spain and Luxembourg.
MyPack Home – Delivery directly to you.
The delivery time is 6-10 business days. You will receive a notification by SMS or email the day before the first possible delivery date. At the same time, you will get a link to a page where you can choose between different shipping options.
The total weight of the package should be 29 kg max.
The webshop automatically calculates the delivery price according to the destination country and total weight of the products.
MyPack Home – service is available in the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, France (metropolitan), Spain and Luxembourg.
Checkout is a secure payment method for you. The service is entered in the payment institution register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority under the transitional provision of the Finnish Credit Institutions Act. It is a service maintained by Checkout Finland Ltd (Business ID 2196606-6) and Checkout Finland Ltd is owned by OP.
Payment by credit card (For all EU countries as mentioned above)
You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard. Card payment is secured by Nets SSL Secure Payment Form. Online shop and Checkout Finland Oy do not have access to card data and payment card information is not stored in our systems. International Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services are used in the online shop.
Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s online shop uses the Checkout payment transfer service for card payments. The online shop acts as a marketer for products and services and as a product supplier for the customer. The online shop is responsible for the statutory and other obligations of the retailer. In the case of payment card payments, the transaction is generated between the customer and Checkout Finland Oy (2196606-6). Checkout Finland Oy is responsible for the obligations and claims for card payments. Checkout will appear as a payee with a card payment and pass the payment made by card by the customer directly to Virtasalmen Viljatuote.
Payment by online bank (For Finland only)
The Checkout payment transfer service transfers your payment to Virtasalmen Viljatuote. The payment buttons for all the Finnish banks are available, so you can choose to pay with Nordea, Osuuspankki, Säästöpankki, POP-pankki, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, S-pankki, Ålandsbanken and LähiTapiola. The payee will see the payment made to Checkout Finland Oy on the bank account statement.
Payment by mobile payment methods (For Finland only)
Mobile payments such as Pivo, MobilePay, and Masterpass are application-based services that can pay for online purchases as a bank account or as a card payment by accepting a payment in that application. With Pivo, you will be able to complete the Transfer-payments so that the payment can be accepted in any application that supports the Transfer-payments.

Payment by invoice with OP bank (For Finland only)
You can pay over 50 € for your purchase with OP Invoice. You will receive 30 days of payment on your invoice and you can decide whether you want to pay off the invoice at once or split it into parts. You can choose OP invoice if you are over 20 years old. In the payment phase, you choose OP and then the system will guide you forward. BEFORE RETURNING THE GOODS, please contact us by phone, e-mail or contact form so we can agree on the corrective action.
Check the shipment immediately upon reception. If you notice any external signs of damages on the package, please inform the shipper’s customer service or contact us by phone: +358 208 348 000 or by email: email@example.com. The shipper’s customer service will send a damage notification and no shipment will be redeemed. If you accept your shipment, check out the condition of the products as you open the package. If the products have been damaged during transportation, please let us know. We would like to receive a picture with the notification if you can send it to us.
If we have shipped a wrong or defective product, please contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org immediately or by telephone: + 358 208 348 000 (on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm). The notice of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days after receiving the product.
