Ingredients
4 eggs
2 dl Indian sugar (or 1½ dl sugar)
1,75dlVirtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free dark wholegrain teff flour
(1 tsp baking powder)
Preparation
- Whisk the eggs and sugar until frothy, add the flour and pour into the greased baking dish.
- Bake the cake in a 175°C oven for 30-35 minutes.
- The gluten-free dark layer cake base is chocolate brown in colour and has a subtle nutty flavour.
- The cake base is perfect for different kinds of chocolate cakes or colourful berry cakes, for example. You can also freeze the cake base fresh and fill it later. In this case, allow several hours for defrosting.
