  • Bottom
  • Grate the grated cheese needed for the base and filling.
  • Combine the milk cream, grated cheese and eggs.
  • Add the flour mix with the baking powder. Mix well.
  • Spread the dough on a baking sheet in an even layer.
  • Bake the base for five minutes in a 200 °C oven.
  • Stuffing
  • Peel and chop the onion, dice the pepper and chop the ham.
  • Sauté the onion and bell pepper in a pan with a splash of oil.
  • Mix the filling ingredients together and spread over the base.
  • Bake in a 200 °C oven for 25-30 minutes.

  1. Can you use creme fraiche instead of that curd, or does it change the consistency of the dough?

    1. Hi Ani,

      You can replace the cream with creme fraiche, which is a slightly fattier alternative. You may need to adjust the amount of flour a little as the products have different textures/constituents.
