Gluten Free Finnish Buckwheat Flour is a fine flour milled from domestic buckwheat, which is ideal for all kinds of baking. If you prefer a stronger buckwheat flavour, bake it as a bread or soften the flavour by combining it with, for example, rice flour. Traditionally, buckwheat flour is used to make blinis, and you will find instructions for these on the packet.

Buckwheat is a complete source of protein, containing essential amino acids and vitamins B1 and B2. Buckwheat seeds contain lysine amino acid and organically bound calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, silicium and fluorine.

Naturally gluten-free, buckwheat is ideal for people with coeliac disease.

No additives or preservatives have been used in the buckwheat flour of the Virtasalmen Viljatuote. In addition, the buckwheat we use is GMO-free.
