Rice thrives best in monsoon climates but is also grown in Europe in places like Italy and Portugal. We use rice from EU countries. Rice is a low-calorie grain, consisting mainly of carbohydrates. Rice is also an important source of B vitamins and contains potassium, calcium, iodine, iron, zinc and phosphorus, among others.
