Rice porridge is a Christmas favourite and a great treat even in the middle of summer! Whether you use a regular pot or a slow cooker, this gluten-free rice porridge is a definite success!

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Bring the water and rice to the boil in a saucepan. Let it boil until the water is absorbed by the rice.
  • Add the milk and stir until the porridge comes to the boil. Simmer on low power, stirring occasionally, for 30-45min.
  • Add salt when the porridge is ready.
  • Gluten-free rice porridge is ready to enjoy!

Tip

  • You can flavour the rice porridge with apples or berries, for example, by simmering them with the porridge. If you like, you can puree the fruit or berries in the porridge with a hand blender before serving.
