minutesThis gluten-free berry pie is a delicious addition to the coffee table. Gluten-free buckwheat bran from Virtasalmen Viljatuote brings a slightly different flavour and texture to the base.
Ingredients
200 g (dairy-free) margarine
2,5 dl sugar
4,45 dl Virtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free all-purpose flour mix
0,5 dl Gluten-free buckwheat soups from Virtasalmi Cereal Products
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 dl water
5 dl lingonberries or blueberries
Preparation
- Mix the sugar, flour mix and bran into a very soft or melted margarine.
- Take 1½ dl of the mixture apart and add the rest of the ingredients, except the berries, to the remaining dough.
- Mix the dough until smooth and pour into a greased pie dish.
- Sprinkle the (frozen) berries on top.
- Crumble the dough into a frosting and bake in a 200 °C oven for about 35 minutes.
- Serve a gluten-free fresh berry pie with vanilla ice cream for diners
