This gluten-free berry pie is a delicious addition to the coffee table. Gluten-free buckwheat bran from Virtasalmen Viljatuote brings a slightly different flavour and texture to the base.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Mix the sugar, flour mix and bran into a very soft or melted margarine.
  • Take 1½ dl of the mixture apart and add the rest of the ingredients, except the berries, to the remaining dough.
  • Mix the dough until smooth and pour into a greased pie dish.
  • Sprinkle the (frozen) berries on top.
  • Crumble the dough into a frosting and bake in a 200 °C oven for about 35 minutes.
  • Serve a gluten-free fresh berry pie with vanilla ice cream for diners
