This flour blend, developed by Viljatuote, is made from carefully selected ingredients and is suitable for use in savoury and sweet baked goods such as rolls, cakes, lattes and pies, giving them a soft and airy texture.

* The easiest way to get started with gluten-free baking is to try this flour mix: for example, replace 4 dl of wheat flour in the recipe with about 3.5 dl of Light Flour Mix. Add the psyllium-containing flour mix only gradually towards the end of the process to prevent the dough from becoming too hard.

    dark flour mix makes tasty dark bread but you have to add salt otherwise it is tasteless

    This is a really good gluten-free flour mix, the best, always works! Even non-gluten people like it and don't even know it's gluten-free unless you say so. Both are great products: dark and light flour mix.

    At some point you must have changed the ingredients in the Light Flour Mix, because before there was no mention of corn grits. Now the bread sometimes rises a little too much in the oven and gets soggy. Apparently the corn grits is also the reason why it is not so good for a sensitive stomach. Older is better

      The ingredients of the light flour mix have always been the same. The bun mix, on the other hand, does not contain corn grits. 🙂

    Which countries are the different types of flour used in this and your other products?

      All our flour comes from EU countries. The only exception is psyllium, which comes from India.
