This delicious gluten-free banana cake is also dairy-free. Virtasalmen Viljatuote' coarse flour mix gives the cake a new look, but if you want a more traditional cake, use a light flour mix.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Whisk together the sugar and margarine.
  • Add the eggs, mixing well.
  • Add the mixed dry ingredients alternately with the mashed banana.
  • Bake in a floured cake tin
  • in a 170 °C oven for 50-60 minutes.
  • Gluten-free banana cake is at its best when slightly chilled.

  1. 2dl baking powder???? Quite a lot!?
    And, teaspoon, in Finnish tsp is = tsk in Swedish.
    På svenska heter det mjölmix inte pure'! ('pure' = puree in Finnish) or do you have a puree and flour product?

      Our Swedish website is still under construction, so there are several errors in the recipes. We are working on correcting them! Baking powder for this cake is 2 tsp. Sorry for these errors!
