minutesGluten-free Reichenbread is a dark delicacy that you can eat for breakfast or as a snack. Try this easy recipe and you'll love it.
Ingredients
- Just
2,5 dl water
30 g yeast
- Dough
2,5 dl Viljatuote Dark Gluten Free Flour Mix (leave about ½ dl for baking)
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp syrup
0,5 tl salt
Preparation
- Just
- Stir the yeast into the liquid and add the psyllium and oat flakes.
- Cover the bowl with a cloth and place in a warm / draft-free place for about 15 minutes.
- Dough
- Add the ingredients to the root.
- Knead the dough e.g. with an electric mixer (dough hooks) or by hand.
- Grind the table and tip the dough onto it.
- Divide into two pieces, pat or roll out two flat round loaves.
- Make a hole in the middle of the mould and cross the surface lines.
- Let rise for about 60 minutes.
- Use a fork to poke holes in the surface of the bread.
- Bake at 220 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
- Gluten-free rye bread is at its best when slightly chilled.

Hello! I wonder if it's possible to make it with buckwheat flakes when oats are not suitable?

We haven't tried using buckwheat flakes in this recipe, but I think it will work too!
