minutesGluten-free soft rhubarb pie goes well with vanilla ice cream or sauce. The Virtasalmen Viljatuote's broad bean flour mix adds a lovely softness and crunch to the pie crust.
Ingredients
- Bottom
75 g butter
0,5 dl sugar
1 dl whipping cream
1 egg
1,5 dl Gluten-free Dark Wholemeal Rice Flour from Virtasalmi Cereal Product
0,5 dl Virtasalmi's Gluten-Free Cereal Product Gluten-Free Mashed Beans and Beans
1,5 tsp baking powder

rhubarb pieces
farina sugar

1 dl whipping cream
0,5 dl sugar
1 tl vanilla sugar
Preparation
- Bottom
- Melt the butter and allow to cool.
- Mix the sugar, cream, egg and dry ingredients into the cooled butter until blended.
- Spread the dough into a round, greased pie dish.
- Stuffing
- Pour the rhubarb pieces over the base and sprinkle with farina sugar.
- Pre-bake at 200°C (baking oven) for about 15 minutes.

- During pre-cooking, mix the egg, cream and sugar.
- Pour the mixture over the pie 15 minutes after baking.
- Place in the oven for another 25 minutes.
- Enjoy the gluten-free soft rhubarb pie with custard or ice cream.
