Ingredients
5 dl water
1 pss dry yeast or 25 g fresh yeast
2 tbsp syrup
1tspsalt
Preparation
- If you are using dry yeast, put 42°C water in a bowl.
- Mix the syrup, salt and dry yeast mixed with a small amount of flour into the water.
- Gradually add the remaining flour.
- If using fresh yeast, break the yeast into lukewarm water.
- Add salt, syrup and flour.
- Start the dough by hand or with an electric mixer.
- Let the dough rise for about 10 minutes before baking.
- Knead the dough on a floured board and shape into a loaf.
- Place the bread in a greased/flour coated loaf pan.
- Rise for about 30 minutes.
- Bake at 225 degrees for about 45 minutes.
