Ingredients
1 dl Gluten-free millet sourdough from Virtasalmi Grain Product
1 dl water
4 dl milk
0,5 tl salt
1 tbsp win at
Preparation
- Rinse the semolina thoroughly with hot water.
- Bring the water to the boil in a saucepan and add the semolina. Stir until the water is absorbed by the semolina and add the milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes. Stir in the salt and butter.
Tip
- Want more flavour in your millet porridge? Cook the millet rhizomes in coconut milk, for example, or alternatively add some spices to the soup water. This way you can create different flavour combinations with the same easy gluten-free millet porridge recipe.
- Millet onions are also good as a side dish or in salads.
