Preparation

  • Bottom
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Prepare the base. Mix together the flour and soft margarine.
  • Add cold water and mix until a smooth dough is formed.
  • Grease a 22 cm loose pan and press the dough into the sides and bottom of the pan.
  • Pre-bake the base in the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Stuffing
  • Chop the pears (be sure to remove the seeds) and lay them on top of the pre-cooked base.
  • Crumble the aura cheese over the pears.
  • Mix together the cream, egg and salt.
  • Pour the mixture over the other ingredients.
  • Bake the pie for 30-40 minutes, until the pie has taken on colour.
  • Let the pie rise for a while at room temperature before cutting.
