minutesQuick and really easy gluten-free scones made with millet flour and a Gluten-free all-purpose flour mix from Virtasalmen Viljatuote. The dough makes 9-12 pieces.
Ingredients
3 dl Virtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free all-purpose flour mix
1,5 dl Gluten-free millet flour from Virtasalmi's Grain Product
1,5 tsp baking powder
0,75 tsp salt
2,5 dl water
3 tbsp cooking oil
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 225 °C.
- Measure the dry ingredients into a bowl, add the warm liquid and mix the dough until smooth.
- Lift the dough with a spoon onto a baking sheet and flatten into thin round loaves.
- Prick the bread a few times with a fork and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
- Gluten-free scones can also be baked with a plain white flour mix.
- Tea bread dough is also suitable as a pie base for savoury pies.
