Quick and really easy gluten-free scones made with millet flour and a Gluten-free all-purpose flour mix from Virtasalmen Viljatuote. The dough makes 9-12 pieces.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 225 °C.
  • Measure the dry ingredients into a bowl, add the warm liquid and mix the dough until smooth.
  • Lift the dough with a spoon onto a baking sheet and flatten into thin round loaves.
  • Prick the bread a few times with a fork and bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Gluten-free scones can also be baked with a plain white flour mix.
  • Tea bread dough is also suitable as a pie base for savoury pies.
