Gluten-free sesame sticks are a great savoury snack for a dinner party or even your own movie night. Try it and love it too! The dough makes about 35 pieces.



  • Melt the margarine.
  • Heat the water to 42 degrees (well above the temperature of your hand).
  • Add the water, yeast and psyllium to a bowl with the margarine. Stir and allow to swell for about 4 minutes.
  • Add 2 dl of flour and a pinch of salt to the liquid and stir with an arrow.
  • Add the remaining ½ dl of flour and knead the dough by hand into a ball.
  • Flour the baking tray and roll out the dough into a rectangular oblong disc. Trim the edges with a knife.
  • Use a knife to cut the dough into dough sticks about 1 cm wide. Transfer the prepared dough sticks to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake at 225 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Let cool for a while before serving.
