The gluten-free granola bars are made from Virtasalmen Viljatuote' blueberry mill. They are an easy and delicious snack even on a car trip. One serving makes 9 buttons

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Mix together the muesli, crushed buckwheat groats, milled flaxseeds, salt and vanilla sugar.
  • Add the milk and dark syrup to the mixture.
  • Press the granola mixture into the holes of the silicone muffin tin.
  • You can also use a larger muffin tin, which will result in fewer or thinner buttons.
  • You can also pat the dough into a rectangular baking dish and cut it into pieces.
  • Bake the granola bars at 200°C for about 10 minutes, until they get a little colour.
  • Remove the slightly cooled buttons from their pans and trim if necessary.
  • Melt the chocolate and dip the base into the chocolate.
  • Allow to set on a baking sheet.
  • Store gluten-free granola bars in a cool place.
