for the spiritGluten-free corn fritters can be enjoyed with both savoury and sweet fillings. If you like, you can also make a tasty layer cake with the pancakes. The dough makes portions for 4 people.
Ingredients
1 dl (50g) Gluten-free corn flour from Virtasalmi Cereal Product
1,5 dl (90g) Virtasalmi Cereal Product Gluten Free Fine Rice Flour or Dark Whole Grain Rice Flour
1tspsalt
1 tbsp sugar
2 eggs
3 dl milk
Preparation
- Beat the egg and milk.
- Mix in the flour, sugar and salt.
- Knead the dough until there are no lumps.
- The pan is heated and greased.
- Pour a thin layer of batter into the pan and fry the pancake until light brown on both sides.
- Gluten-free corn fritters can be served as a starter with a vegetable/bean filling or as a dessert with ice cream, jam, sugar or other topping.
