100 g coconut fat or
150 g dairy-free margarine
1,5 dl sugar
1,5 dl Gluten-free Dark Wholemeal Rice Flour from Virtasalmi Cereal Product
0,5tspginger
0,5 tsp Carnation
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
0,5 tl salt
1 dl water
buckwheat or rice flour for baking
- Frosting
2,5 dl icing sugar
1-2 tbsp water (or egg white)
Preparation
- Melt the coconut fat or margarine.
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Combine the flour mix, fat and water.
- Mix until smooth.
- Roll out the dough into a thin disk and make small biscuits of the desired shape with gingerbread shapes.
- Bake the biscuits in a 200 °C oven for about 12 minutes.
- Let the biscuits cool before icing.
- You can spread the icing all over the biscuit or pipe it in patterns.
- Decorate with sugar pearls or nonpareils.
- Remember to check the suitability of the materials used to make the decorations!
