Gluten-Free Sourdough Baguettes

These long loaves get their flavor and texture from chopped nuts and dried cranberries. This recipe makes two baguettes packed with flavor and nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 5 dl buttermilk or water (42 °C)

  • 11 g dry yeast

  • 1,5 tsp salt

  • 1 dl ground nuts

  • 0.5 dl dried cranberries

  • approx. 5.5 dl Cereal product Sourdough bread mix

Preparation

  • Quickly mix all the ingredients in a bowl and let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Divide the dough into two portions and shape them immediately on a floured surface into long, baguette-shaped loaves.
  • Let the baguettes rise on parchment paper for about 45–60 minutes.
  • Make diagonal slits in the surface of the bread with a sharp knife or scissors just before putting it in the oven.
  • Bake on the middle rack of the oven at 225 °C for about 25–30 minutes. Let cool before slicing.
