Prepare gluten-free American pancakes in a snap! This easy recipe will put a smile on your face at breakfast!

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Mix together the milk, egg and butter. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Combine with a wooden fork, stirring to combine. Mix as little as possible! Let the dough rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Fry in an oiled pan. Add about ½ dl of batter per pancake. When bubbles start to form on the surface you can flip the pancake, but make sure the bottom is golden. Serve with syrup, nutella, jam and/or berries!
  • Gluten-free American pancakes become dense over time, so enjoy them right away! The batter makes about 8-10 pancakes.

Tip

  • If the pancakes don't rise, it's usually the baking powder. Remember to use new baking powder that has been properly stored!

      All our flours are lactose-free 🙂 We do not add anything extra to our flours or flour mixes.

      You can of course try to make the dough without the egg. Unfortunately, we haven't tested it yet. However, in some cases you could have omitted the egg or replaced it with something like quark or something similar. 🙂
