This delicious gluten-free chocolate cake is easy to make and sure to please everyone. Serve with berries or ice cream.


  • 3 eggs

  • 2 dl sugar

  • 3tspreal vanilla sugar

  • 170 g margarine powder

  • 1 dl raspberry jam

  • 2tspbaking powder

  • 3 rkl dark cocoa powder

  • 3 dl Virtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free all-purpose flour mix

  • 2 rkl vanilla custard powder

  • 1 dl cold water

  • 1 dl milk

  • Frosting
  • 200 g dark chocolate (I used dammenberg reino)

  • 0,5 dl cream


  • Whisk the eggs and sugars.
  • Add the margarine and raspberry jam.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the foam.
  • Add cold water and buttermilk.
  • Pour into a greased and floured 23 cm diameter baking dish.
  • Bake at 175 C for about 50 min.
  • Let cool until cold, then turn the cake out onto a cutting board and frost.
  • Stuffing
  • Melt the chocolate in a water bath
  • Add the cream to the melted chocolate.
  • Decorate the gluten-free chocolate cake as you wish.


  • If the frosting freezes before you can spread it, put it back in the water bath.
