Chocolate

Chocolate is a confectionery made from cocoa beans, usually containing sugar and milk, and is widely used in baked goods such as cakes, biscuits and muffins. Chocolate can also be vegan, in which case it is made using a plant-based dairy product.

Chocolate as such is gluten-free, but chocolate bars, candy bars and bars may contain gluten-containing additives. In our recipe bank you will find gluten-free recipes containing chocolate, some of which are also vegan.
