minutesGluten-free carrot bread is definitely worth the long preparation time. Make the bread the night before and bake it in the morning for a fresh breakfast.
Ingredients
4 dl water (+42'c)
1 tsp dry yeast
1tspsalt
2 dl (2 small carrots) grated
Preparation
- Mix dry yeast, psyllium, salt and carrot grits into the water.
- Finally, add the flour.
- Stir well, but don't bother.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and leave the dough to rise at room temperature for 12 hours.
- Quickly roll the raised dough into a ball and let it rise for another 30 minutes under a cloth.
- Place the pot and its lid in a cold oven and turn the oven on to 225 degrees and let it warm up properly.
- Put the bread dough in the hot pot and cover with the lid.
- Bake for 30 minutes, remove the lid and continue baking for another 20 minutes.
- Gluten-free carrot sticks are at their best when fresh.
