hourGluten-free apple cake is delicious served at the coffee table and brings a nice change to your Christmas offerings. You can use bun or light flour mix to your taste.
Ingredients
3 eggs
2 dl sugar (reduce the amount of sugar if the applesauce is sweetened)
150 g butter or margarine
3 dl milk
2 dl applesauce
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1tspcardamom
4dlVirtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free bun flour mix or all-purpose flour mix
2tspbaking powder
Preparation
- Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the milk, melted butter and applesauce.
- Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the dough, stirring gently. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the dough into a greased baking pan and bake in a 175C oven for about 1h.
- Allow to cool before repealing.
- Gluten-free apple cake is ready to enjoy!

The taste was good as far as what was ripe. In the oven for 1,5 h and still raw inside. Was 3 dl of milk the right amount? The dough was quite watery.

There can be many reasons for a watery batter, for example a more runny applesauce or under-whipped sugar-egg whipped cream. However, we will be retesting this recipe to make sure the ingredients are correct!
