Gluten-free apple cake is delicious served at the coffee table and brings a nice change to your Christmas offerings. You can use bun or light flour mix to your taste.

Preparation

  • Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the milk, melted butter and applesauce.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the dough, stirring gently. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the dough into a greased baking pan and bake in a 175C oven for about 1h.
  • Allow to cool before repealing.
  • Gluten-free apple cake is ready to enjoy!

  1. The taste was good as far as what was ripe. In the oven for 1,5 h and still raw inside. Was 3 dl of milk the right amount? The dough was quite watery.

    1. Hello,

      There can be many reasons for a watery batter, for example a more runny applesauce or under-whipped sugar-egg whipped cream. However, we will be retesting this recipe to make sure the ingredients are correct!

  2. The first gluten-free dry cake of my life and it turned out well. This recipe makes it easy to make different flavoured cakes by changing the spices.
