minutesMaking granola is surprisingly easy, and you know what you're pouring into your yoghurt! Store gluten-free granola at room temperature in a jar with a lid.
Ingredients
3 tbsp rapeseed oil
3 tbsp honey
3 dl nuts
2 dl dried berry and or fruit pieces
2dlVirtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free oat bran
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Line a high-sided baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix the oil and honey together. If the honey is stiff, heat it in the microwave for a while. Stir the liquid into the flakes.
- Grind the nuts and add them to the flakes.
- Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
- Stir in between. The granola should fry to a golden brown surface.
- Let the granola cool. Mix in the dried berries and bran.
- Gluten-free granola is delicious on its own or as an accompaniment to yoghurt or curd.
What to replace oats when all domestic grains are "in the pot"
So many good recipes that then stop at oats... even gluten free (oats are a grain)
Thanks for the tip
Hi Kristiina!
Unfortunately we do not have any other flakes in this larger size. You can try replacing the oats with buckwheat flakes, but in this case, grind the nuts really small to reduce the toasting time. Watch how the flakes toast in the oven, but we'd guess the toasting time to be around 10-15 minutes. The buckwheat flakes are much thinner and smaller than the large oat flakes.
I hope this helps!
