Stewed, buckwheat groats are a tasty and easy addition to a meal. Mix it with milk for a delicious baked porridge or add it to a casserole for texture and chewiness. High in protein, buckwheat groats keep your stomach full for a long time.
The cereal product Gluten Free Buckwheat Grits is whole unroasted buckwheat, giving the semolina its characteristic light green colour. The dark brown hard skin of the buckwheat has been removed as it is not fit to eat. It is advisable to rinse the buckwheat semolina before use.
Buckwheat is a complete source of protein, containing essential amino acids and vitamins B1 and B2. Buckwheat seeds contain lysine amino acid and organically bound calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, silicon and fluorine. Read more about buckwheat here.
