Oats are a great source of fibre and protein, as well as vitamins and minerals. Oatmeal is perfect for porridge and baking. You can mix it with vegetable milk, put it in the fridge overnight and enjoy a delicious fresh porridge in the morning. You can also mix the flakes into the bun dough and the result is more fibre and a fluffier texture. A large wholemeal flake requires a slightly longer cooking time, about 15 minutes.
