The best chocolate muffins in the world! Add some chocolate with delicious cupcake frosting!

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Whip the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and cold water.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together and incorporate into the mixture. Finally, toss in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the muffin tins.
  • Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Frosting
  • Using a blender or hand mixer, blend the cream cheese, almost melted margarine and vanilla extract until smooth. Mix in the icing sugar and cocoa powder. Add a few tablespoons at a time of the sugar mixture, mixing well. You can cover the bowl, for example with a kitchen towel, while mixing. The mixture will be quite hard and heavy and should not remain runny.
  • Allow the muffins to cool completely before frosting. Place the piping bag in a deep vase or glass and turn the edges outside the glass. Scoop the frosting into the bag and close the filled bag tightly, for example with a bag sealer. Decorate the muffins and grate chocolate on top.

  1. I've made muffins using your recipe but I beat the eggs and sugar to melt the fat I like the recipe like this I sometimes put coffee in the liquid
