minutesGluten-free buttermilk cake made entirely without eggs! The softness of the cake comes from the buttermilk and Cereal Product's Raw Flour Blend.
Ingredients
- Cake
1,5 dl sugar
1tspbaking soda
1tspginger
2 tsp cinnamon
3 dl buttermilk
1 dl melted butter
- Kuorrute
150 g icing sugar
0,5tspginger
2tspteaspoon of lemon juice
(0,5tspwater)
Preparation
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Add the buttermilk and melted butter to the mixture.
- Mix until smooth and pour into a greased and floured cake tin.
- Bake at 175 degrees for 45-60 minutes until the cake is done.
- Mix the ground ginger and lemon juice into the icing sugar. Add a little water if necessary.
- When cool, invert the cake and frost.
- The gluten-free buttermilk cake will keep for a week at room temperature and two weeks in the fridge.
