Gluten-free buttermilk cake made entirely without eggs! The softness of the cake comes from the buttermilk and Cereal Product's Raw Flour Blend.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Mix the dry ingredients together.
  • Add the buttermilk and melted butter to the mixture.
  • Mix until smooth and pour into a greased and floured cake tin.
  • Bake at 175 degrees for 45-60 minutes until the cake is done.
  • Mix the ground ginger and lemon juice into the icing sugar. Add a little water if necessary.
  • When cool, invert the cake and frost.
  • The gluten-free buttermilk cake will keep for a week at room temperature and two weeks in the fridge.

      The gluten-free carrot & sunflower seeds flour mix is such a new product that you won't find it in many shops yet. Our online shop is the easiest place to order and you can also find a larger pack size.

      You can replace the carrot flour mixture with any of our flour mixtures 🙂 The ratio remains the same!
