Preparation

  • Remove the stones from the dates and place in a bowl. Add the baking soda and pour the boiling water over the dates. Leave for about 5 minutes.
  • Puree the dates in a hand blender.
  • Add the coconut sugar and rapeseed oil. Stir.
  • In another bowl, mix the vanilla sugar, baking powder and flour.
  • Add the flour mix to the date mixture and mix.
  • Pour the dough into a piping bag.
  • Grease the doughnut pan with baking spray and pour the dough into the doughnut cups.
  • Bake the doughnuts at 200°C for about 8 minutes on the middle shelf of the oven.
  • Tip the prepared doughnuts onto a cooling rack and prepare the glaze while the doughnuts cool.
  • Chop the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl with the coconut oil. Heat in the microwave to melt the chocolate coating.
  • Dip the doughnuts in chocolate one by one and decorate with your choice of toppings.

      Here's a recipe for vegan pancakes 🙂 No eggs or sugar are used to make these. For frying, you can use the fat of your choice.

      Many of the banana pastries on our website are also suitable for diabetics when eaten in moderation.
