3 dl water
10 g fresh yeast
For frying: 1 l rapeseed oil
On top: finger salt
Preparation
- Dissolve the fresh yeast in water.
- Add the flour and salt to the bowl. Make a well in the middle and pour the water mixture into it.
- Mix with a spoon to form a dough.
- Cover the dish with cling film and let rise in a 30°C oven until the dough has doubled in size (about 40 minutes).
- Heat the oil to 180 degrees in a tall saucepan.
- Take a tablespoon of dough and slide the ball of dough with your finger into the boiling oil. Fry 3-4 balls of dough at a time for about 1.5 minutes. The pizza balls are ready when they are airy and have a nice brown surface.
- Use a slotted spoon to lift the pizza balls onto the paper towels.
- Sprinkle with finger salt and serve as is.

Tip
- You can also dip the pizza balls in pesto, garlic aioli or tomato sauce, for example.
