  1. Hello,

Can this Virtasalmen Viljatuote's Gluten-free all-purpose flour mix be substituted with other gluten-free flours?

    1. Hello,

You can replace the all-purpose flour mix with, for example, bun flour mix or sorghum flour mix 🙂 Bun flour mix contains more psyllium than our other flour mixes, so 1 teaspoon of psyllium should be enough when using it.

  2. How thick do you bake the bread? This would be essential information. I've done this 4-5 times now and can't quite get it to the point where I can split it down the middle ...

    1. Hi Niina,aleipiin
Thank you for your feedback. We will correct the issue in the recipe. The pita breads are shaped into loaves about 1cm thick. You could try extending the rising time and the essential thing is that the pita bread is baked on a heated baking tray in the oven. Then the pita bread will have that pocket.
