This delicious and fluffy bun is made from Virtasalmen Viljatuote' light, gluten-free flour mix.

Ingredients

  • 5,5 dl Virtasalmen Viljatuote's gluten-free all-purpose flour mix

  • 1,5 dl sugar

  • 1tspsalt

  • 1 tsp ground cardamom

  • 0,5 pss dry yeast

  • 5 dl (warm) water

  • 35 g dairy-free margarine

  • pearl sugar

  • Fill with jam, cinnamon sugar and margarine or vanilla filling with 25 g margarine, 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla sugar.

Preparation

  • Mix the dry ingredients, add the water and mix with a wooden fork until smooth.
  • Add the melted margarine to the dough.
  • Rinse the silicone bowl with cold water.
  • Spread the dough in a pie dish (grease if necessary).
  • Let the bun rise in a warm place for at least half an hour.
  • Sprinkle with pearl sugar and bake in a 200°C oven for about 25 minutes.
  • The dough can also be baked into small buns (24 pieces) in muffin liners.
  • The baking time is then about 15 minutes.
  • Even when making small buns, the dough does not need to be kneaded and is very fragile.
  • The texture is also slightly different from baking with traditional ingredients, but the taste is familiar.
  • The rented bun is also delicious the day after baking and can be frozen.
