200 g soft butter
2 dl Indian sugar or farina sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
3 large room temperature egg
1 dl almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1tspbaking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1tspginger
200 g carrot paste
- Frosting
200 g Valio vanilla-flavoured cream cheese
25 g soft butter
0,75 dl icing sugar
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 185°C.
- Beat the soft butter, sugar and vanilla sugar for a few minutes.
- Add the eggs one by one and beat vigorously for a couple of minutes.
- Mix together the flour mix, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and ginger and add to the mixture.
- Finally, add the carrot grits and mix the dough until smooth.
- Grease and flour a 23cm round pan and pour the dough into the pan.
- Bake the cake in a 180 degree oven for 30-45 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool to room temperature before frosting
- Frosting
- Mix the ingredients together, spread with a spatula on top of the cake.
- You can decorate it with almond or nut crumbs, for example.

Yes you can 🥰 Our flour mixes are designed to be substituted in almost all recipes in the same proportions. I'd try your options for this, Light Flour Blend or Durra Flour Blend - or why not a little of both!
