minutesThis hearty gluten-free ham and cheese pie is perfect for both coffee and a Saturday night treat, using Virtasalmen Viljatuotes' Gluten-free all-purpose flour mix whey as the base.
The recipe makes a baking tray, halve it for a pie dish.
Ingredients
- Bottom
150 g margarine
0,5 tl salt
1 dl grated cheese
1 dl cold water
- Stuffing
350 g (1 pss) ham strips
250 g (1 piece) Valio Koskenlaskija Food Cheddar
2 eggs
4 dl grated cheese
1 purple
n. 1 dl chopped parsley
season with, for example, black pepper and garlic powder
Preparation
- Bottom
- Mix together the soft margarine, grated cheese and dry ingredients.
- Add the water and mix the dough until smooth.
- Put the dough in the fridge for a moment.
- Then spread the dough on a baking sheet on a baking tray.
- Poke holes in the bottom with a fork and bake at 225°C for 10 minutes.
- Stuffing
- Rinse and chop the leeks. Use at least the white part. Mix the filling ingredients together and spread over the pre-baked base.
- Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes on the middle shelf of the oven.
- Gluten-free Ham and Cheese Pie is at its best when warm but also tastes delicious cold.
