Corn is one of the world's most important cereal crops, grown both for human consumption and animal feed. Corn originated in Central America, where it arrived in Europe as a result of Columbus' expeditions shortly before the beginning of the 1500s. Corn requires a lot of heat to grow well. As the growing season for Corn is limited in Finland, the Corn used in Viljatuotte's products comes from France.
Corn contains calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, B and E vitamins, among other things.
The corn flour in the cereal product is free of additives, preservatives and GMOs.
