Preparation

  • Mix the dry ingredients together, add the butter cubes and cream cheese and knead the dough until smooth.
  • Then add the remaining ingredients and mix by hand until smooth.
  • Spread the dough on a floured board and roll out a 2cm thick dough mat if you want fillings, otherwise roll out a thinner dough mat.
  • Use a cookie cutter to press the scones onto the baking paper.
  • Brush with egg and sprinkle with oat flakes if desired.
  • Bake at 170'c for about 15 min-20 min depending on the oven and thickness.
  • They are ready when the surface is beautifully browned.
