Gluten-free fragrant apple cake is a delicious addition to the coffee table. Try it and love it too!

Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 150 g butter

  • 2 dl sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tlk sour cream

  • 4 dl Viljatuote Light Gluten Free Flour Mix

  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar

  • 2tspbaking powder

  • Stuffing
  • 3-4 pcs apples

  • 0,75 dl sugar

  • 3 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

  • Cream the butter and sugar.
  • Add the eggs, one by one, beating them into the mixture.
  • Add the cream and the dry ingredients mixed together to the dough.
  • Peel the apples and remove the cores.
  • Grate the apples into a coarse grater.
  • Stir the sugar and cinnamon into the grated mixture.
  • Place half of the dough in a greased and floured (e.g. dark rice flour) loose pan in an even layer.
  • Add the apple sauce on top, followed by the rest of the cake batter.
  • Sprinkle almond flakes on top.
  • Bake the cake at 175 degrees for about 55-60 min.
  • Gluten-free fragrant apple cake is at its best when slightly chilled.
