Gluten-free blueberry pie

Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s oat flakes brings a soft crunchiness to the pie crust.


150 g butter
¾ dl sugar
1 egg
2 dl Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s gluten-free all-purpose flour mix or Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s gluten-free sunflower seeds flour mix
1 dl Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s oat flakes
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

4–5 dl blueberries
200 g sour cream
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar


Whisk butter and sugar.
Add the egg while whisking.
Mix the dry ingredients together and add them to the dough.
Mix all to get a smooth mixture
Use your hands to spread the crust on a buttered pie dish. Don’t forget the sides.

Pour the blueberries on the crust.
Mix the filling ingredients together and pour the mixture on the blueberries.
Bake at 200°C in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Let the pie to cool down before serving.
