This gluten-free nettle ginger snack is perfect for any snacking occasion! Serve with soup, as a snack on the go or even as a substitute for crisps! Take a look at the fresh dip designed to accompany the nettle ginger snack.

Ingredients

  • 3,5 dl Virtasalmi's Gluten-Free Nettle Seed Germ Flour Puree

  • 2,5 dl boiling water

  • 0,5 dl oil

  • finger salt (on top)

Preparation

  • Mix into a smooth mass and pour onto a baking tray.
  • Pat into a smooth disk (you can use a plastic glove, use a spatula or bake with another baking sheet to prevent the dough from sticking)
  • Sprinkle the top with sea salt flakes.
  • Bake at 150 degrees for about an hour.
  • Cool and cut the gluten-free nettle germ into pieces. If you want precise pieces, use a pizza cutter to cut or roll the dough before putting it in the oven. This way the pieces will come off more neatly when the cookie is cooled.
