Gluten-free halloween cupcakes
Recipe by Virtasalmen Viljatuote Oy
Gluten-free Halloween cupcakes are a sure choice for the festive table! Spook your guests with these four different cupcakes.
Ingredients
- Muffin options
- Basic shells
for approx. six cupcakes
50 g margarine
50 g cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract
4-5 dl icing sugar
Preparation
- Basic shells
- Soften the margarine and mix the ingredients together. Add the icing sugar a few tablespoons at a time.
- Dirt cupcakes
- Prepare the frosting according to the recipe for the chocolate muffins, half a frosting is enough. Add a little black food colouring to the icing if you like.
- Using an arrow or a knife, spread the icing evenly over the muffin. Using the handle of a spoon, poke a hole through the icing all the way to the muffin. Push the candy frosting into the hole. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top while the frosting is still wet
- Mummy muffins
- The easiest of the Halloween cupcakes! We recommend using chocolate muffins to create a contrast.
- Cut open the tip of the sugar coating so that the hole is quite large. Make stripes straight and criss-crossed to create mummy gossamer. Add a small amount of icing to the back of the eye and place in place. You can use tweezers to help.
- Blood muffins
- Use a starburst for eruption. Make a small pile in the centre and start extruding from the edge towards the centre. Allow the frosting to set.
- For example, mix a red smoothie or jam with red food colouring. Use a spoon to drop a small amount of liquid down the grooves of the frosting. Add the sugar knife by pressing it into the icing. If you wish, dip the edge of the knife in the red liquid before placing it in place.
- Seagull cupcakes
- Place the purser bag in a tall container. Using an arrow, add white icing to the bag, brushing against the other side of the arrow. Mix the remaining frosting with the food colouring of your choice. Add the icing coloured with the arrow to the other side of the bag.
- Close the bag and pour the frosting into the bowl until the colours combine. Start from the edge. Add the eyes before the icing hardens.
- Gluten-free Halloween cupcakes are ready to terrify your guests!
