minutesThe full-bodied gluten-free cheese polenta is a tasty side dish for meat or fish. The polenta is also easy to shape to your liking.
Ingredients
8 dl water
2 dl cream
0,5-1 tl salt
25 g butter
1ps(130g) grated cheese / 100g grated parmesan cheese
black pepper from the mill
Preparation
- Put the water and cream in a coated saucepan. Add salt and bring to the boil. Add the corn grits to the boiling water and cream mix, stirring with a whisk.
- When the mixture starts to boil, lower the heat and cover the pot with a lid. Simmer for about 20 minutes, until the polenta is cooked. Stir occasionally to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom.
- Add the butter, grated cheese and black pepper. Stir.
- Serve gluten-free cheese polenta as a side dish with meat or fish.
Tip
- Pour the polenta into a rectangular baking dish. Cover with cling film and leave to cool for a while.
Cut the polenta into squares or use a mould to make patterns. Fry the pieces in butter in a pan just before serving.
