Why should you come to work for Virtasalmen Viljatuotes for a summer job? Virtasalmen Viljatuote produces naturally gluten-free milled products with over 20 years of experience. We manufacture and package our products for consumers, retailers and bakeries around Finland and for export. We have been chosen as the 2016 Gluten-Free Company of the Year and the 2018 South Savo Company of the Year. We focus on quality, food safety and a holistic customer experience. Now you have the opportunity to get involved in the great team and follow the journey of a growing food company. Join us!
Our company is located in Virtasalmi, Pieksämäki (Suholanrannantie 231, 77330 Virtasalmi). Due to the commute, using your own car is quite necessary.
Working hours are from 7am to 3pm on weekdays, but we hope you can be flexible if necessary. We are all off during the Midsummer holidays.
What would be your job responsibilities?
Collecting orders from bakeries and retailers, various mill production tasks and other interesting tasks. We will also try to apply your previous knowledge where possible.
And what do we want from you?
An interest in the food industry, the ability to work well in a team and independently, diligence and accuracy. A hygiene passport is an advantage, as well as forklift driving skills. Please also note that flour sacks weigh some weight. Työtehtävät tuotannossa varies quite a lot and during the summer holidays we hope that you are flexible to learn new things.
The duration of the job is initially 5 months (1.5. - 30.9.2022), but may continue beyond that. The work will start in early May with an induction period.
