Gluten-free Finnish rice porridge

Finnish rice porridge is a traditional Christmas treat here in Finland. But since it's so delicious and simple we do eat it all year round!

Gluten-free Finnish rice porridge

Ingredients
 2 dl water
 1 l milk of choice
 ½ tsp salt
Directions

Boil the water and rice in a pot. When the rice has absorbed the water add the milk. Bring to boil stirring. Lower the heat to the lowest setting and let it cook under the cover for 30-45 minutes. Stir every now and then. When ready mix in the salt and serve while still warm.
