Gluten-free apple galette
Ingredients
Pie base
 2 tbsp sugar
 1 tsp cinnamon
 ½ tsp salt
 90 g margarine
 2 tbsp cold water
Filling
 4 small-medium apples
 3 tbsp maple syrup
 ½ tsp cinnamon
 ½ tsp ground cardamom
 1 pinch of salt
 2 tbsp maple syrup for the crust
Directions

Preheat oven to 200 C / 392 F.
Mix dry ingredients. Add vegan butter and cold water little by little. Combine until you have a solid dough. Slice apples and mix them with syrup and spices. Use a rolling pin or hands to flatten the dough into a thin round galette. Add apple slices and fold edges. Spread syrup on the edges. Bake 20 minutes and serve with ice cream.
